The management team of Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has dismissed reports that she was rearrested after her release from Suleja Correctional Centre, calling the stories false and misleading.
In a statement shared on her Instagram story, The Moving Train Entertainment said Angela is free and has fully complied with all her bail conditions. The team urged the public to rely only on verified and credible sources for information about her case.
The statement noted that some blogs had wrongly reported that the singer and actress was taken back into custody. It stressed that her bail conditions have been met and concluded, and that there has been no new arrest.
Angela Okorie has also spoken briefly since leaving detention, assuring fans and family that she will address them in detail soon. She thanked everyone who showed her love and prayed for them, saying she was grateful for their support.
The actress was first arrested on January 26, 2026, in Lagos and later moved to Abuja over alleged cyberstalking and cyberbullying, following a petition by fellow actress Mercy Johnson Okojie. She was granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja on January 30, 2026, in the sum of N5 million with one surety in like amount.

Police investigate alleged shooting of comedian Broda Shaggi
