Political and business leaders across Nigeria have sent goodwill messages to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he marks his 74th birthday. They praised his decades of involvement in national politics and his current efforts to steer economic and governance reforms.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio described Tinubu as an audacious and visionary leader whose life has been dedicated to Nigeria’s development. He said the President’s journey from pro democracy activism to the presidency shows a consistent commitment to democracy and national progress.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan also congratulated Tinubu, commending his role in sustaining democratic institutions and urging continued focus on peace and stability. He prayed for wisdom and strength for the President as he leads the country through economic and security challenges.
State governors from different political parties joined in celebrating the President. They highlighted his support for sub national governments, his consultations with state leaders, and his push for infrastructure and investment across the federation.
Leading businessman Aliko Dangote hailed Tinubu’s leadership and reform agenda. He noted that current policies, though difficult, are aimed at building a stronger foundation for Nigeria’s economy and attracting more investment.
Youth groups and political supporters also issued statements backing Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. A coalition of South East youths said they remain committed to engaging constructively with the administration and contributing to national unity and development.
Many of the messages acknowledged the tough social and economic conditions Nigerians are facing. However, they expressed hope that ongoing reforms will yield positive results over time and called on citizens to remain patient and peaceful.
In their tributes, the well wishers prayed for long life, good health, and greater wisdom for Tinubu as he continues in office. They also urged him to keep prioritising inclusive governance, dialogue, and policies that improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

He therefore announced that NANS is now moving to the final “C”: Confrontation, as it prepares to escalate the issue. The association has unveiled a plan to hold a protest on Monday, which will disrupt academic activities at LAUTECH until the suspensions are reviewed. The demonstration is […]
