The Accident Victims Support Foundation has extended support to some pupils of Ben Konadu SDA Basic School in Konongo-Odumasi who were involved in a recent road accident.
The gesture follows a crash that occurred on March 28, 2025, along the Adukrom-Somanya road, involving a bus transporting about 62 pupils on an excursion.
During a visit to the victims, the President of the Foundation, Rev. Cyril Benedict Crabbe, presented cash and food items to assist with their recovery.
Speaking to Adom News, Rev. Crabbe urged Ghanaians to show compassion and emulate the Foundation’s act of benevolence. He also appealed to the government to offer additional support to the victims to ensure their full recovery.
The Headmaster of Ben Konadu SDA Basic School, Kwame Owusu Boateng, expressed deep appreciation to the Foundation for the timely assistance.
The Parent-Teacher Association Chairman, Kwadwo Ansah Amenyaw — who was also involved in the accident — shared his gratitude and called for continued support for the affected pupils.

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed ongoing power interruptions in parts of the Greater Accra and Western regions to separate technical faults affecting its distribution network. Rescue teams are continuing efforts to locate and extract individuals believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of a collapsed building in Accra’s North Industrial Area following a structural failure that has left several people injured.
