Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh says she will be more deliberate about the people and brands she associates with in 2026, stressing that respect is non negotiable. In a series of posts on Instagram and Facebook, she announced new personal and professional boundaries for the year.
Dikeh said she will not work with or promote any individual, platform or brand that is hostile or disrespectful towards her, her faith or her pastor. She added that she will only support organisations that value, honour and protect her as a person and as a professional.
She also warned that event invitations and promotional requests must now go through her management, except in rare cases where there is a close personal relationship. According to her, she does not make casual appearances, even for acquaintances, and will only show up where clear professional terms have been agreed.
Tonto Dikeh urged people and brands to reflect before approaching her, asking whether they have genuinely supported her and whether they respect her values. She said her new rules are meant to protect her peace, time and energy as she enters a more focused and intentional phase of her life.
