Une nouvelle ère institutionnelle
Conformément à la nouvelle Constitution promulguée en mai 2024, Faure Gnassingbé a été officiellement nommé Président du Conseil ce samedi par l’Assemblée nationale togolaise lors d’une séance plénière. Cette désignation marque un tournant historique dans l’évolution institutionnelle du Togo, qui adopte formellement un régime parlementaire.

Dès sa nomination, Faure Gnassingbé a prêté serment lors d’une cérémonie officielle sur la Place des Fêtes à Lomé, en présence :
✔️ Des hauts responsables de l’État
✔️ Du corps diplomatique accrédité au Togo
✔️ D’une foule nombreuse de citoyens venus assister à ce moment historique
Attributions du Président du Conseil
Dans ce nouveau système :
🔹 Chef du gouvernement : Dirige la politique nationale
🔹 Pouvoir exécutif intégral : Nomination des ministres et coordination administrative
🔹 Responsabilité politique devant le Parlement
Élection du Président de la République
En fin de journée, le Parlement réuni en Congrès (députés + sénateurs) a élu le nouveau Président de la République. Selon la réforme :
◾ Rôle désormais symbolique et protocolaire
◾ Aucun pouvoir exécutif
◾ Représentation de l’unité nationale
Une réforme pour moderniser la gouvernance
Cette transition s’inscrit dans :
1️⃣ La modernisation des institutions étatiques
2️⃣ L’adaptation aux standards démocratiques
3️⃣ La recherche d’un nouveau modèle de gouvernance

Ga Traditional Council Summons KOKA Over Comments About COCOBOD CEO

Ghana to Declare 21 Marine Protected Areas Starting at Greater Cape Three Points
