Two Nigerian clubs — Remo Stars and Rivers United — are set to secure Nigeria’s two slots in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League , according to updated qualifying reports from Agence France-Presse and published by The Guardian .
Nigeria ranks among the top 12 footballing nations in Africa based on CAF criteria. This ranking allows the country to field two clubs in Africa’s premier club competition each season.
