Peju Ogunmola remembers late mother 27 years after death

Veteran actress Peju Ogunmola has paid an emotional tribute to her late mother, 27 years after her death.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, she shared a black and white photo of her mother and thanked her for the love, lessons and kindness she showed during her lifetime.

Peju said that although the world has changed a lot since her mother passed, the values she learnt from her remain timeless and still guide her every day. She added that she carries her mother’s spirit in her heart, cherishes their memories and misses her deeply.

The actress, who has also endured personal tragedy with the death of her only son, said her mother’s teachings continue to give her strength.

Quoting her message, she wrote that 27 years have gone by but not a single day passes without her feeling the warmth of her mother’s love, ending the note with “Missing you always, Iya Peju.”
