Iran has executed a man convicted of taking part in anti government protests that rocked the country in January.

Judicial authorities said the man, identified as Mohammad Amini Dehaghani, was hanged after the Supreme Court upheld his death sentence

He was found guilty of moharebeh, a charge translated as waging war against God, and of collaborating with the enemy during the unrest.
