Le jeune attaquant franco-togolais Idjessi Metsoko a officiellement fait son retour à Viktoria Plzeň , un des clubs phares du football tchèque, après une saison réussie en prêt à ŠK Slovan Bratislava .
Durant la campagne 2024-2025 en Premier League slovaque , Metsoko a disputé 34 matchs , inscrivant 4 buts et délivrant 3 passes décisives , contribuant activement à la conquête du titre national par son club d’alors. Ce passage sur la scène internationale lui a permis de gagner en maturité , expérience , et surtout, en confiance .
Formé dans les meilleures académies européennes et lié à Viktoria Plzeň jusqu’en juillet 2027 , le joueur avait été envoyé en prêt en février 2024 afin de bénéficier de temps de jeu dans un championnat compétitif. Un pari qui semble avoir porté ses fruits : le voilà de retour dans un environnement plus exigeant, mais désormais mieux armé pour y briller.
Un renfort prometteur pour Viktoria Plzeň
Viktoria Plzeň, habitué des pelouses européennes et toujours en course pour les places qualificatives aux compétitions continentales, mise beaucoup sur le retour de Metsoko pour renforcer son secteur offensif .
Polyvalent, rapide et doté d’un bon sens du but, le Togolais s’inscrit dans la stratégie du club visant à intégrer de jeunes talents capables de faire la différence. Son profil correspond aussi bien à un rôle de soutien qu’à celui de meneur d’attaque.
En route vers les Éperviers ?
Sur la scène internationale, Metsoko commence également à se faire remarquer. Récemment convoqué avec l’équipe nationale espoirs du Togo , il pourrait très bientôt intégrer les plans de la sélection A, ouvrant ainsi la porte à une carrière sous le maillot des Éperviers .
À seulement 21 ans , l’attaquant dispose d’un potentiel intéressant, tant sur le plan technique que physique. Son retour à Plzeň marque peut-être le début d’une ascension durable au plus haut niveau.
