
Gov Bala Mourns Death of Iyan Jama’are
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has expressed deep sadness over the death of Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Wabi , the Iyan Jama’are and district head of Hanafari , who died in a tragic motor accident on Sunday.
The governor described Ahmed Nuhu Wabi as a distinguished traditional leader and son of the respected Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Wabi .
He praised him as a man of humility, duty, and service , who worked hard to promote peace and development in his community.
A Leader Who Served With Dedication
As district head of Hanafari , Ahmed Wabi led with commitment, ensuring justice and progress in his area and beyond.
In a statement released by his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado , Governor Bala said:
“This is a painful loss—not only to the Jama’are Emirate but to the entire state.”
He called Wabi a young and promising leader whose life was cut short too soon.
“His death reminds us how fragile life is and that all things happen according to the will of Allah.”
Government Extends Condolences to Royal Family
On behalf of the government and people of Bauchi, Governor Bala extended heartfelt sympathies to the Jama’are Emirate Council , the late leader’s family , and all those mourning his death.
He assured the royal house of continued support from the state government during this time of grief.
Prayers for Eternal Rest and Strength
Governor Bala prayed that Allah (SWT) grant the late Ahmed Nuhu Wabi a place in Jannah (Paradise) .
He also asked for strength for the grieving family, the Emir, and the entire Jama’are Emirate .
“May Allah comfort their hearts and give them patience in this moment of sorrow.”
