On July 16, 2025, Ghana’s Energy and Green Transition Ministry, represented by Nana Yaa Jantuah, officially launched the installation of 23,500 all‑in‑one solar streetlights, covering 700 km of urban networks nationwide. The initiative is expected to reduce street lighting demand on the national grid by 200–300 MW during peak periods.
