
A group of third-year students from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), has donated essential medical supplies to the university’s Medical Centre. The items include a pharmacy label printer with software, an ear irrigation machine, two otoscopes, three thermometer guns, a glucometer, and assorted medicines. Additionally, they presented a 2.0 HP air conditioner to the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Studies.
Lead Lecturer, Sandra Yeboah Nyarko, explained that the donation aimed to equip the clinic with necessary tools to improve healthcare services for the university community.
The donation was received by UPSA medical staff and Dr. Adwoa Amankwah, Head of the Department of Communication Studies. Professor Abigail Opoku Mensah, Director of UPSA’s Research and Consultancy Centre, praised the students’ commitment to enhancing campus facilities.
The initiative was supported through financial contributions and sponsorships from various sources.
