Renowned business magnate Sam Jonah has urged Ghanaians to unite and reflect after the 2024 elections, emphasizing accountability, healing, and collaboration as the way forward for national progress.
In his statement, Jonah celebrated Ghana’s democratic resilience but expressed sorrow over the loss of four lives during the elections. Calling these incidents “tragic and unacceptable,” he pressed authorities to investigate and ensure justice for the affected families.
He also commended the Electoral Commission and security services for upholding the credibility of the electoral process despite challenges.
As Ghana faces economic difficulties, Jonah stressed the importance of strengthening institutions, fostering unity, and prioritizing development over political divisions. He appealed to leaders and citizens alike to heed the wisdom of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, urging everyone to rise to the challenge of building a stronger and more inclusive nation.
