On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Ghana’s tourism and recreational landscape witnessed a major milestone with the official launch of Shornaa Island Amusement Park. Located along the A1 lagoon bypass, just behind the Trade Fair in Accra, this state-of-the-art park is the first of its kind in the capital, offering an exciting blend of entertainment, relaxation, and adventure amidst the serene backdrop of a black water lagoon.

Shornaa Island Amusement Park is set to become a top destination for both locals and tourists seeking thrilling experiences. It boasts a variety of modern attractions, making it the ultimate spot for a fun-filled day out.

 

Ing. Magnus Lincoln Quarshie, President of XtremeFun Ltd, delivered the opening remarks, expressing his excitement about bringing the vision of the park to life. He emphasized the joy and unforgettable memories the park is poised to create for visitors of all ages.

International partners also shared their goodwill messages, including Peter van Bilsen, International Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Vekoma Rides Manufacturing, and Luigi Puca, Trade Commissioner at the Italian Embassy. Local support was represented by the La Traditional Council, further highlighting the park’s significance to the community and the country’s tourism sector.

62-Year-Old Businesswoman Remanded Over $13K Fraud
