
Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah stole the spotlight at the 49th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards, winning the prestigious titles of Female Athlete of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year. The 23-year-old’s stellar performance capped off an exciting night at the Accra International Conference Centre on January 24, 2025.
Also recognized at the event was Abdul Aziz Issah, who claimed both Male Footballer of the Year and Prospect of the Year awards. The SWAG Awards celebrate the remarkable achievements of Ghana’s sportsmen and women who made significant contributions to the country in 2024.
