Lilwin Spends Over $40,000 on Ramsey Noah for ‘A Country Called Ghana’.

Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, revealed he spent over $40,000 to feature Nigerian actor Ramsey Noah in his film A Country Called Ghana. In a conversation with Zionfelix, Lilwin shared the challenges of managing the film’s budget, explaining that despite his efforts, some stars demanded too high a fee for participation.

Lilwin also highlighted the substantial promotion costs, noting that he spent over one million Ghana cedis on the campaign, which included billboards, T-shirts, and even purchasing a Benz for visibility. His promotional efforts contributed to the movie’s successful premieres in Accra and Kumasi.

Despite the high investment, Lilwin remains committed to his vision of elevating Ghanaian cinema, making A Country Called Ghana a major topic of conversation in the industry.
