Indonesia Consulate Congratulates Mahama, Promises Stronger Ghana-Indonesia Ties.

The Honorary Consulate of Indonesia in Ghana has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the 2024 general elections. The Consulate praised the people of Ghana and the National Democratic Congress for upholding democratic principles and expressed confidence in Mahama’s leadership to drive national development.

In a statement, the Consulate highlighted opportunities for collaboration in agriculture, energy, trade, tourism, education, and technology. It noted Indonesia’s expertise in renewable energy and agricultural innovation as potential areas to benefit Ghana.

The statement also emphasized the potential for Ghanaian students to access scholarships and exchange programs in Indonesia. It proposed a state visit by Mahama to Indonesia post-inauguration to strengthen bilateral ties and set strategic development goals.

The Consulate reaffirmed its dedication to building dynamic partnerships and fostering mutual growth between the two nations.
