He said many popular and successful people struggle silently with mental and emotional stress after reaching fame, especially when the spotlight begins to fade.instagram+1

According to Davido, a dedicated therapy hub would help such individuals adjust to life after peak fame and give them a safe space to talk about their experiences.instagram+1

He explained that the centre should be designed for celebrities and public figures who face unique pressures, including public scrutiny, online bullying, and the fear of not knowing when to step away from the industry.facebook+2

Davido noted that proper mental health support could reduce depression, anxiety, and risky behaviour among entertainers and other famous personalities, and help them build healthier lives beyond their careers.

Appeal court bars INEC from recognising Mark-led ADC congresses

The appeal court has barred the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from recognising congresses organised by the David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. The court said INEC should not take part in or give recognition to any state congresses arranged by committees set up by the party’s caretaker leadership. It held that the responsibility for conducting state congresses belongs to the elected state executive committees of the party, not the national caretaker leadership. The court also ruled that the tenure of the ADC’s state working committees and state executive committees remains valid until properly organised congresses are held and a national convention is conducted.
