Charles Inojie says Shaffy Bello’s praise is his best New Year gift so far

Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has expressed deep gratitude and surprise after fellow actress Shaffy Bello publicly praised him as one of her favourite comic actors, calling her words his “best New Year gift so far”.​
He reacted after a recent interview clip showed Bello applauding his natural talent, especially his timing and delivery, which she said “you can’t teach” because it is innate.​

Inojie said the praise left him awestruck and “literally dumbfounded,” noting that receiving such validation from a respected colleague he greatly admires means more to him than material gifts.​
He added that her comments remind him that years of hard work in comedy and acting have not gone unnoticed and that he will not take the acknowledgement lightly.​

The veteran actor, known for his roles in numerous comedy films and TV shows, described Bello’s remarks as a powerful encouragement at the start of 2026.
He thanked fans and industry colleagues for continuously supporting his craft and promised to keep giving his best on screen.​
