Le défenseur togolais Frédéric Ananou a officialisé son arrivée au NK Olimpija Ljubljana , l’un des clubs phares du championnat slovène, a annoncé le club samedi dernier.
Âgé de 26 ans , ce défenseur central rejoint les rangs des « Greens » , tenants du titre slovène, pour la saison 2024-2025 .
Après avoir terminé son contrat en Allemagne avec le SSV Jahn Regensburg (2e division allemande), Ananou entame un nouveau chapitre de sa carrière en rejoignant une équipe ambitieuse engagée dans des compétitions nationales et européennes.
Il disputera ses premiers matchs dès juillet prochain , lors d’un double affrontement contre le club kazakh du Kairat Almaty , dans le cadre des qualifications européennes.
Un nouveau défi pour briller en Europe
Ce transfert marque une étape importante dans la carrière du Togolais, qui aura l’opportunité de s’illustrer dans un nouveau championnat en Europe tout en visant des titres avec une formation en plein essor.
Le NK Olimpija Ljubljana , fondé en 1911 , est un club historique de Slovénie. Dissous en 2004 pour des raisons financières, il a été relancé en 2005 et n’a cessé de progresser depuis. Le club a retrouvé l’élite nationale avant de remporter la dernière édition du championnat slovène.
Pour Frédéric Ananou , ce démarrage en Slovénie représente à la fois un défi personnel et une vitrine internationale pour le football togolais , alors que le joueur espère se faire remarquer sur la scène européenne.
