The Africa Technology Expo (ATE) will return to Lagos for its third edition with organisers confirming an expanded two day, enterprise focused format scheduled for June 26 and 27, 2026.
Often described by participants as the “CES of Africa,” the event will bring together decision makers, senior executives, regulators and technology professionals to explore opportunities in the continent’s fast evolving digital economy. Organisers say previous editions of the Expo facilitated an estimated 198 million dollars in partnerships, investment discussions and memoranda of understanding across technology and infrastructure projects.
The platform was created to connect Africa’s emerging hardware and digital infrastructure ecosystem with global markets and has grown into a meeting point for conversations around robotics, connectivity and enterprise innovation.
Speaking ahead of the 2026 edition, ATE convener Nnaemeka Clinton said the decision to expand to two days reflects both the scale and complexity of Africa’s technology landscape. “The evolution of ATE into a two day format reflects the increasing scale and complexity of the African technology ecosystem. The goal is to create a platform that enables more meaningful engagement and supports partnerships that drive long term growth,” he explained.
The upcoming edition will feature exhibitions on robotics, Internet of Things (IoT) and smart hardware solutions, alongside sector specific masterclasses and curated networking sessions designed to connect businesses, investors and policymakers.
Organisers also plan to roll out a matchmaking platform that will support targeted interactions between participants, while senior executives from both the public and private sectors are expected to participate in high level dialogues on digital infrastructure and enterprise technology.
The Expo is taking place at a time when governments and organisations across Africa are investing more heavily in digital infrastructure and enterprise systems as part of long term economic development strategies.
The 2026 edition is headlined by Layer3, a provider of connectivity, cloud and enterprise infrastructure solutions, and Breet, a digital asset platform focused on secure cryptocurrency transactions across Africa. Supporting partners include MTN, ZOHO, Maxitech, Nobus Cloud and other ecosystem players.
Organisers described ATE as a pan African, enterprise driven platform that brings together stakeholders across business, government and the broader technology ecosystem to unlock opportunities in Africa’s digital economy.
