An Instagram live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze turned dramatic after singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and his wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, were heard in a heated argument in the background, sparking viral reactions on social media.
The controversy began when 2Baba’s former managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, appeared on the live session and made a series of allegations against Natasha, accusing her of trying to take full control of the singer’s personal and professional life.
They claimed she frequently displays intense anger, confirmed that a previously denied arrest involving the couple in the United Kingdom actually happened, and alleged that she manages 2Baba’s finances and public engagements in a way they described as unhealthy.
The ex-managers also referred to earlier incidents, including a clash at an airport and a domestic dispute that nearly drew police intervention, which they presented as signs that the relationship environment was volatile and troubling.
Lori recounted confrontations in which he said Natasha’s reactions were marked by extreme rage and repeated outbursts, insisting that these were red flags and arguing that 2Baba “needed to be saved” from what they saw as a toxic situation.
He added that some of 2Baba’s music, especially a track titled “Save Me From Myself”, could be interpreted as a subtle cry for help, suggesting that the singer might be expressing emotional struggles through his songs.
The situation escalated when 2Baba suddenly joined the live session, angrily telling his former managers to stop discussing his private life and ordering them to “shut up” as he rejected their claims in strong language.
Moments later, loud arguing between 2Baba and Natasha could be heard off-camera, with their voices rising before the broadcast abruptly ended, leaving viewers speculating about the state of their relationship.
2Baba’s relationship with Natasha became public shortly after his split from his estranged wife, actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, in January, with the singer insisting at the time that his new romance had nothing to do with the breakup.
He proposed to Natasha in February, and their relationship appeared to gain wider family acceptance in April when she visited 2Baba’s mother, Rose, who had earlier expressed reservations, before the couple eventually married in July.
