Fast rising Afro Pop artist Taste Ena, whose real name is Nosakhare Emmanuel, has released a new single titled Money, which he describes as a message of discipline, focus and resilience.
The Edo State born singer is known for blending Afro Pop rhythms with personal storytelling drawn from real life experiences. His songs often mirror the struggles, ambitions and daily realities of young Nigerians facing economic and social pressures.
A graduate of Mass Communication from the National Open University of Nigeria, Taste Ena said his sound is shaped by his life journey and faith. He explained that he channels these influences into music that motivates listeners to stay focused despite distractions.
According to him, Money is not a celebration of wealth but a reminder that discipline and consistency are key to achieving personal and professional goals. The track emphasises that while money may not solve every problem, staying focused can ease many of life’s burdens.
Though still building his mainstream profile, the artiste has gained attention through energetic live performances and support from industry stakeholders. He has also grown a loyal fan base known as the Survivor Squad.
With more music planned in the coming months, Taste Ena is positioning himself among a new wave of Afro Pop acts using their songs to tell stories of survival, hope and determination in Nigeria’s evolving music scene.
