Leo Edochie, son of veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie, has dismissed rumours circulating on social media that his father has died.
False reports about the actor’s death had spread on X, prompting concern among fans before Leo addressed the claims on Instagram. He stated clearly that his father is alive, healthy and strong.
Leo condemned the story as baseless and misleading. He said he had received numerous calls and messages over the fake report and insisted it was a lie from the pit of hell.
He added that anyone wishing his father dead would be disappointed, declaring that Pete Edochie will live long and that those spreading such rumours might even die before him.
