
Popular Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu has opened up about a deeply emotional period in her life when her late husband battled a serious illness.
In a candid revelation on her YouTube channel, Regina Chukwu TV, she shared how her husband, overwhelmed by the pain of his condition, pleaded with her to end his life.
His health deteriorated rapidly, forcing her to take him back to his family in the village, hoping for a change.
Upon arrival, his physical transformation shocked his relatives, who sought spiritual and traditional remedies in an effort to save him.
Despite these attempts, his condition continued to decline. Regina spent two months by his side in the village, witnessing his suffering firsthand.
It was during this painful period that her husband made the heartbreaking request to her to let him die peacefully. His wish was eventually fulfilled by nature, leaving Regina to raise their children on her own.
Regina’s emotional account serves as a reminder of the unseen struggles many people face in private, shedding light on the difficult moments often hidden from public view.
