Popular Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has shared an emotional throwback from her maternity shoot while offering heartfelt prayers for women trying to conceive and expectant mothers.
In a video posted on her social media page, Mercy Chinwo reflected on her pregnancy journey and described the season as very special and a clear reminder of God’s faithfulness in her life. She referred to her child as a miracle and noted that the memories from that period will always remain dear to her.
Alongside the maternity shoot throwback, the singer prayed for women who are trusting God for the fruit of the womb. She asked God to visit them with joy, turn their waiting period into a time of testimony and celebration, and grant them answers sooner than they expect.
Mercy Chinwo also extended her prayers to pregnant women, asking God to strengthen them and protect both mother and child. She prayed for safe and joyful deliveries and declared that their lives and their babies would be preserved.
Her message has drawn many reactions online, with fans and followers flooding her comment section to say amen to the prayers and to appreciate her for remembering women in waiting and expecting mothers in her reflections.

Veteran actor Pete Edochie says his prayers contributed to the electoral victories of six Nigerian politicians in the last election cycle . He made the remark while hosting streamer Peller at his residence in Enugu, where he recalled how the politicians visited him before the polls to seek his blessings .
