Incumbent MP Patrick Yaw Boamah has reclaimed his Okaikwei Central parliamentary seat following a re-collation of votes. He secured 21,099 votes, surpassing his rival, Abdulai Abu Baba Abubakar Sadiq of the NDC, who initially appeared to win with 19,368 votes.
The re-collation, ordered by the Accra High Court, took place at the Greater Accra EC office under tight security. This process is part of a broader review of nine disputed constituencies across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with Ghana’s electoral laws.
