Monalisa Abigail Semeha, popularly known as Mona Gucci, has been acquitted and discharged by an Accra Circuit Court over fraud charges. Accused of taking GH¢103,400 to secure U.S. visas in 2019, the court ruled the matter as a civil issue gone wrong.
The defense argued that the prosecution failed to establish a strong case, leading to Mona Gucci’s release. Despite claims of visa promises and refunds not being fulfilled, the court held there was no criminal basis for the charges.
