In a shocking incident, Kwame Ofosu, a commercial motor rider (okada rider) in his early 20s, was found decapitated in a bush at Gomoa Afranse in the Central Region. The gruesome discovery on Thursday has left the local okada riders shaken and calling for justice.
The deceased’s remains have been sent to Swedru Government Hospital for autopsy, while police investigations are underway. Assemblyman Ibrahim Obeng, who reported the case, described the incident as unusual in the peaceful community and urged the police to act swiftly.
Residents have been advised to remain vigilant, especially when taking trips to isolated areas.
