West Ham United’s manager, Julen Lopetegui, has confirmed that Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus is fit and available for their Premier League match against Leicester City today, December 3, 2024. Kudus returns after serving a five-match suspension for violent conduct during a clash against Tottenham Hotspur on October 19.
Lopetegui expressed excitement about Kudus’ availability, describing it as a significant boost to the squad. “He’s missed a lot of matches but is fit and ready. It’s good to have more players available,” he said during a press conference.
Kudus, who joined West Ham from Ajax in the summer, has been instrumental in the team’s midfield with his creativity and goal-scoring abilities. His return comes at a critical time for the Hammers, who have struggled offensively, relying heavily on winger Jarrod Bowen. The team has scored more than one goal in just two of their last six matches.
