Amerado Reveals Why He Turned Down Barima Sidney’s Feature Request.

Ghanaian rapper Amerado has opened up about his decision to decline a feature request from fellow musician Barima Sidney. Speaking on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Kwame Dadzie, Amerado explained that his choice was influenced by a lack of inspiration for the song.

He shared that while he initially liked the track Sidney sent, he didn’t feel he could deliver his best performance on it. Instead, Amerado suggested doing a remix of one of Sidney’s well-known hits, but that collaboration didn’t materialize.

Amerado clarified that his decision wasn’t personal, stating that he’s open to working with Sidney in the future if the right song comes along. He emphasized that inspiration plays a crucial role in his music, citing his recent collaboration with gospel artist Joyce Blessing as an example of a track he felt instantly connected with.

Despite this, Amerado praised Sidney’s contributions to the music industry and expressed interest in future projects with him.

Amerado recently collaborated with Shatta Wale on a track titled ‘Blessings’ and has worked with other artists like Sista Afia, Rap Fada, and King Paluta. He also released a new EP titled The Gold Coin.
