The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects linked to the robbery of a businessman in Ashaiman, Greater Accra.
One of the suspects, Karim Fatao, was apprehended on the day of the robbery, February 26, 2025. The second suspect, Wonder Babanawo, who had been on the police wanted list for multiple robberies in Ashaiman and Tema, was arrested on March 29, 2025.
A police search uncovered a Ruger pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition, 30 mobile phone covers, six SIM cards, suspected Indian hemp, a Samsung tablet, and three land indentures.
Karim Fatao was remanded into police custody after being arraigned on March 3, 2025. Wonder Babanawo remains in custody and will soon face court.
