Kwahu Paragliding Festival Returns for Its 20th Thrilling Edition

The highly anticipated Kwahu Paragliding Festival is set to take flight once again from April 18 to 21, 2025, marking its 20th anniversary. This internationally recognized event will take place at the breathtaking Odweanoma Mountains in Atibie-Kwahu, attracting adventure seekers and tourists from around the world.

Organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, the festival is held in collaboration with several key stakeholders, including the Ghana Tourist Development Company and the Kwahu Traditional Council.

Experienced tandem pilots from Ghana, the USA, Romania, Peru, and Germany will be offering thrilling paragliding experiences, taking participants from the mountain summit down to the Nkawkaw Stadium. Aside from paragliding, attendees can enjoy various side attractions such as a health walk, fun games, children’s activities, music, and traditional Ghanaian board games. Food, souvenirs, and tour packages will also be available.

A single paragliding flight costs GH¢1,350, but early bird tickets available until March 31 will be priced at GH¢1,250. The festival has become a major highlight of the Kwahu Easter celebrations, bringing together locals, diasporans, and tourists for an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, networking, and cultural festivities.
