Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, has clarified that actress Joselyn Dumas has not been appointed to any position in John Mahama’s government. This follows rumors circulating on social media that she had been appointed as the Deputy Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President.
In an interview with Myjoyonline.com, Felix confirmed that while he can verify the appointments of other creative arts personalities, such as Kofi Okyere Darko, Rex Omar, Abeiku Santana, and others, Joselyn Dumas was not among the appointees.
This clarification comes after a wave of speculation regarding Dumas’ alleged appointment, which stirred reactions from social media users, with some questioning the validity of the appointment and expressing frustration over political appointments within the creative industry.
