The 1975 and 1985 year groups of Achimota Senior High School have donated science laboratory equipment worth GH¢1.5 million to enhance science education at their alma mater.
The donation includes anatomical models, glassware, surveyor’s levels, and digital weighing scales, aimed at improving practical learning for the over 1,000 science students at the school.
The groups also allocated funds for laboratory reagents and chemicals to support research, as part of their legacy project for the school’s 98th Founder’s Day celebration.
The National President of the Old Achimotans Association, Joel Edmund Nettey, urged other alumni groups to collaborate on similar initiatives for sustainable development.
