A devastating explosion at a mining supply shop in Odumasi, near Konongo in the Ashanti Region, has claimed one life and left multiple people injured, including two firefighters.
The fire broke out in stores selling dynamites and other explosives, leading to powerful blasts that damaged buildings and caused widespread panic. The explosion, occurring just 50 meters from a fuel station, intensified concerns about safety regulations in the area.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the explosion, but reports indicate that a resident who tried to warn firefighters to retreat was fatally injured in the blast.
