Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has made it clear that she will never mix business with pleasure when it comes to her career. Speaking in an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, she firmly dismissed the idea of having a romantic relationship with her manager.
“Oh, never ever. It will never happen. Work is work. I don’t know how to mix work with pleasure,” she stated, emphasizing that she keeps her personal life strictly private.
Sista Afia also revealed that she is currently signed under her own record label and manages her career with a dedicated team. While she welcomes support from people willing to help her grow, she admitted that many assume she has everything she needs, making it difficult to receive genuine assistance.
Additionally, she shared that she is highly discreet about her relationships, saying, “You can be close to someone I’ve dated for years and never even know unless I tell you.”
