
Ho Technical University (HTU) officially admitted its newest batch of students at its 32nd matriculation ceremony, marking a historic intake of 4,120 students—the highest since its upgrade to a tertiary institution.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Ben Q. Honyenuga welcomed the freshers, highlighting HTU’s growing global recognition, including a top-300 global ranking and its status as Ghana’s best technical university. He urged students to embrace innovation, discipline, and entrepreneurship while taking advantage of international exchange programs.
He emphasized HTU’s commitment to inclusivity, strict academic policies, and a zero-tolerance stance on violence. The ceremony ended with a call for students to focus on academic and personal growth.
