Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama publicly criticized political activist Appiah Stadium for his forceful approach toward his brother, former President John Dramani Mahama. The incident occurred at a funeral for the mother of MP Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka, where Ibrahim confronted Appiah Stadium, stating, “It is not nice.”
A video of the encounter has since gone viral, with many people discussing Appiah Stadium’s persistent and sometimes intrusive interactions with high-profile figures. This follows a previous incident where security personnel blocked Appiah Stadium from getting close to Mahama at a funeral for the late Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen. Arnold Quainoo.
While Appiah Stadium has been a vocal supporter of Mahama, some believe his actions often cross the line of protocol and decorum.
