Nathan Campbell, Roc Nation’s Global Director of Football Recruitment, revealed the plans while in Cape Town, South Africa. He emphasized the agency’s commitment to a non-transactional approach, aiming to uplift communities while developing talent.
Ghana, known for its sports legacy, has been chosen as a strategic hub for West Africa. The agency, which manages top athletes like Vinicius Jr. and Romelu Lukaku, intends to create meaningful partnerships across the continent. Jay-Z himself has shown deep involvement in sports, recently attending a UEFA Champions League final to support Vinicius Jr.
With this expansion, Roc Nation Sports is set to reshape Africa’s sports management landscape, providing aspiring athletes with global exposure and career-enhancing opportunities.
