The vetting of ministerial nominees turned chaotic as Minority and Majority members clashed over the number of candidates to be vetted. Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin accused the NDC members on the Appointments Committee of using intimidation tactics to push their agenda.
He insisted that the Majority would not be silenced, affirming their right to ask tough questions where necessary. Afenyo-Markin also accused the Minority of unilaterally altering agreements, leading to confusion and heightened tensions. Despite the disruptions, he vowed that the Majority would not be forced into a walkout, ensuring that the vetting process continues.
