The Office of the President has unveiled the official portrait of President John Dramani Mahama, symbolizing his leadership and dedication to Ghana. In a statement on January 9, 2025, Acting Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu described the portrait as a reflection of national pride, unity, and the aspirations of Ghanaians.
The presidency also issued a warning against unauthorized production of framed versions of the portrait. It clarified that no individual or company had been contracted to produce or distribute framed pictures in bulk. Citizens were urged to avoid scams tied to the release of the portrait.
The official portrait is set to be displayed in offices and public spaces nationwide, reinforcing the collective vision of President Mahama’s leadership. This announcement follows his January 7, 2025, inauguration and complements his first wave of ministerial appointments.
The President’s initial nominees include:
- Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson – Finance Minister Designate
- John Abdulai Jinapor – Energy Minister Designate
- Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine – Attorney-General and Justice Minister Designate
The rollout underscores President Mahama’s commitment to transparent governance and progress for the nation.
