Sokpoe Paramount Chief Initiates Construction of New Kindergarten Block for Local School.
In a heartening development for the South Tongu District of the Volta Region, Togbega Kadzi Zogah II, the Paramount Chief of Sokpoe, recently broke ground for a two-unit kindergarten classroom block at Anaosukofe Primary School. This initiative aims to address a critical shortage of classrooms, as kindergarten students have had to study under trees for over two decades. Alongside this project, Togbega Kadzi distributed essential supplies, including mosquito nets, exercise books, and sanitizers, to support students' health and education.Expressing his dedication to the Sokpoe Traditional Area, Togbega Kadzi called for additional support to improve road access to the school and chaired a fundraiser to extend piped water to the school, promoting better hygiene for students.
