NGO Distributes Menstrual Products to 300 Girls in Kaduna for International Children’s Day
In a meaningful effort to promote girls’ health and menstrual hygiene in Nigeria , the DIACONIA Intervention for Human Development Foundation , an Abuja and U.S.-based non-governmental organization, has distributed essential sanitary products to over 300 adolescent girls in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State . The initiative formed part of activities marking International Children’s Day 2025 , with the goal of addressing the challenges many young girls face regarding menstrual health and personal hygiene. A Special Day for Young Girls The event was graced by Mrs. Juliana Manzo Daniel Maigari , wife of the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government, who served as the Special Guest of Honour .
