SkyTrain Case: Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi Pleads Not Guilty, Granted GH₵10 Million Bail

On May 26, 2025, Professor Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi, former Board Chairman of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), appeared before the Accra High Court to face charges related to the controversial $2 million SkyTrain project. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and was granted bail set at GH₵10 million with two sureties justified by landed properties in Accra.
