Federal Gov’t Flags Off Skills-to-Wealth Training For Youths To Alleviate Poverty
A New Era of Youth Empowerment The Federal Government has launched the Skills-to-Wealth (S2W) Training Programme , a landmark initiative to tackle youth unemployment and poverty through skill development. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction , the program targets agriculture, renewable energy, and automobile repairs/maintenance in all six geopolitical zones. Minister Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda emphasized:“This is not just policy—it’s the embodiment of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. We’re shifting from poverty alleviation to poverty reduction by empowering youths to become innovators and entrepreneurs.” Program Details & Objectives Target Demographic: Youths, women, and vulnerable groups.
