Bono Public Employment Centre Inaugurated to Boost Job Opportunities.
The newly constructed Public Employment Centre in Odomase, located in the Sunyani West Municipality of Ghana's Bono Region, was inaugurated on November 6, 2024, by Ignatius Baffuor-Awuah, the Minister of Employment, Labour Relations, and Pensions. This centre is part of the Ghana Jobs and Skills Project, an initiative focused on enhancing job creation and skills development across the country by establishing one employment centre in each of Ghana’s 16 regions.These centres will host the Ghana Labour Market Information System (GLMIS), providing job seekers with resources, career guidance, and skills training to help them meet the demands of Ghana’s job market.
