Stephen Appiah Returns to Black Stars Management Committee Ahead of 2026 World Cup.

Former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah, has been invited by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to rejoin the reconstituted Black Stars management committee ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, set to begin in March.Led by GFA President Kurt Okraku, the committee's reformation is in progress, with key individuals such as Dr Randy Abbey, who will chair the committee, and Appiah, among the potential members. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, CEO of Ghana Premier League side Samartex, and Samuel Aboabri, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, are also expected to join.Despite Appiah's past reservations about the way appointments were handled, he is currently in discussions regarding his return.
