4o German Embassy Donates Carpentry Tools to Nsawam, Ankafo Prisons 4o The German Embassy, in partnership with the POS Foundation, has donated carpentry tools worth over GH₵ 52,000 to the Nsawam and Ankafo Annex prisons in the Eastern Region. This contribution includes essential equipment such as an angle grinder, planing machine, sanding machine, and universal sewing machine, among others. German Ambassador to Ghana, Daniel Krull, highlighted Ghana’s commitment to human rights and the rule of law, stressing the importance of supporting inmates to become self-sufficient once they leave prison. He expressed hope that the tools would be well-maintained and used to create meaningful work, such as carpentry projects that would improve the employability of inmates.
