Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has announced his decision to resign from his affiliation with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to dedicate more time to humanitarian work. In a recent statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Gyan, Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer, expressed his belief that his political involvement had not been in the best interest of Ghana’s youth.
